We are excited to expand our team in Amsterdam with the addition of two Senior Electrical Engineers.Your role will involve collaborating with a dynamic project team to oversee the electrical aspects of our turnkey data center projects. Here are some of your key responsibilities: Conduct thorough electrical design reviews to identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies in specifications and IFC drawings. Create detailed RFIs to clarify ambiguities and resolve potential design challenges. Evaluate equipment sizing (cable, containment, etc.) and provide informed recommendations. Manage the submittals process and ensure timely procurement and delivery of electrical equipment, including conducting receipt verifications. Perform electrical system walk-downs to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and the Winthrop Integrated Management System. Participate in regular supplier and subcontractor meetings to track progress against the overall construction schedule. Coordinate electrical services with other disciplines and the project BIM team. Guide subcontracted staff on technical project aspects. Work with the construction team to ensure subcontractor adherence to site and project requirements, including health and safety regulations. Develop method statements and risk assessments for construction activities. Collaborate with the project team to optimize the installation sequence of electrical systems for efficiency and safety. Employ troubleshooting techniques to diagnose issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain document control to ensure accuracy and timeliness of logs.
