Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork are critical to ensuring project success.Responsibilities & DutiesDevelop and maintain EWIS architectures, including schematics and harness assembly drawings using Zuken E3, ensuring all necessary manufacturing and installation details are included.Utilize NX CAD software to accurately route harnesses in 3D while adhering to design and installation standards.Review and refine EWIS designs to comply with project specifications and standards, covering aspects like EMC/EMI, current capacity, voltage drop, and environmental/classification requirements.Stay informed about industry and military standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620, ABYC, ABS, and relevant MIL-STDs, applying these consistently in design and documentation.Provide technical support and troubleshooting during harness construction, factory testing, and vessel integration; lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for any nonconformances.Plan and assist in verification and validation activities (continuity/insulation resistance, hipot, and harness test board checks) and document results for compliance and quality audits.Effectively communicate with project managers, suppliers, and production stakeholders to ensure build readiness, gather design-for-manufacture feedback, and manage schedules and risks.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.5–10+ years of experience in EWIS design, harness engineering, or electrical integration with a proven track record.
