Position Overview
As a Labourer reporting to the Construction Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting crew leaders with various general labour duties. Your tasks will include digging, lifting, and ensuring the job site remains clean and organized. This position requires the safe operation of basic hand tools and, when necessary, company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in physically demanding tasks in a dynamic outdoor environment, working under diverse weather conditions, such as digging, lifting, cable pulling, and transporting materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site through ongoing general cleanup efforts.
- Clear snow from the job site as needed.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles when required, promptly reporting any maintenance needs to the Site Supervisor.
- Assist equipment operators by securing attachments and guiding the movement of equipment and materials on-site.
- Safely utilize and maintain basic hand tools.
