About the job

Oligo is pioneering a revolutionary model that integrates manufacturing processes to automate spacecraft design and production on a global scale. Our innovative approach empowers clients to concentrate on their unique technologies and mission goals, while we manage the entire spectrum from design and manufacturing to launch and operational execution. By harnessing state-of-the-art AI-driven generative design and automated manufacturing, our talented team, consisting of ex-MIT, Harvard, and NASA JPL experts, is committed to delivering the most sophisticated payload-specific spacecraft in mere weeks rather than months.
With a board of world-class advisors and fresh investment from leading firms such as Lux Capital, we are continually seeking outstanding builders, quick learners, and driven engineers. Whether your interests lie in spacecraft systems, avionics, machine learning/AI, or advanced manufacturing, you will collaborate across various disciplines on tangible missions that operate in orbit and expand globally.
We unite premier AI/ML talent with top-notch satellite engineers under one roof to redefine the construction of space systems from the ground up. No bureaucracy. No outdated methodologies.
If you believe you have what it takes, we are eager to connect with you.
Your Role
As a Generative Spacecraft Engineer - Systems, you will be instrumental in the design, integration, and testing of spacecraft systems. Collaborating closely with senior engineers across various disciplines, you will gain comprehensive insight into the complete spacecraft lifecycle while making direct contributions to tangible hardware and mission achievements:
- Assist in the design of spacecraft mechanical and electrical subsystems, encompassing structures, harnessing, propulsion, avionics integration, and thermal management.
- Support the development of interface control documents (ICDs), system block diagrams, and subsystem-level requirements.
- Contribute to cable routing layouts and power distribution architectures.
- Engage in hardware component evaluations (e.g., connectors, fasteners, PCBs, motors, actuators).
- Participate in build and integration activities, including spacecraft assembly, test campaigns (TVAC, vibration, EMI/EMC), and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate across disciplines (GNC, power, software, mission design) to ensure seamless spacecraft integration.
