Are you a talented and driven Generator Technician seeking to advance your career in a dynamic and challenging environment within the Telecom industry? If so, Pearce has the perfect opportunity for you! Our Generator Technicians are responsible for servicing and repairing commercial generators located on cell phone towers in your area. This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who are open to travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain generators, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, install and replace components or entire systems, and perform ongoing maintenance or upgrades on off-season equipment.
- Conduct performance assessments and routine maintenance on generators to ensure operational readiness, and interpret blueprints or design specifications for installations or repairs.
- Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, controls, and other components, testing for optimal functionality.
- Respond promptly to Power/Generator alarms, with the availability to be on call 24/7 and handle assigned communications effectively via phone and email.
- Work safely while being aware of potential hazards associated with power supply equipment installation and maintenance, including falls, electric shock, and traffic. Utilize safety equipment and adhere to safety protocols, attending all required safety and training meetings.
