Your Impact:

Are you a talented and motivated Generator Technician eager to expand your knowledge in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within the Telecom industry? If so, Pearce has the perfect opportunity for you! Our Generator Technicians are responsible for servicing and repairing commercial generators located on cell phone towers in your area. This role is ideal for self-starting individuals who are ready to travel and take on challenges.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance on generators, diagnose and repair issues, install and replace components or entire systems, and conduct additional maintenance or upgrades on equipment during off-peak seasons.
  • Execute performance checks and routine maintenance on generators to ensure optimal readiness, while interpreting blueprints or design specifications for installations or repairs.
  • Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components, testing them for proper operation.
  • Respond promptly to Power/Generator alarms; be available for 24/7 on-call duty and timely communication via assigned phone and email.
  • Work safely while being aware of potential hazards associated with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment, switching gear, and other devices, utilizing safety equipment and attending all required safety and training meetings.
