Your Role:

Are you a proactive and skilled Generator Technician seeking an opportunity to advance your career in the fast-paced Telecom industry? At Pearce, we invite you to apply your expertise! Our Generator Technicians are responsible for servicing and repairing commercial generators at cell phone towers within your region. This position is ideal for self-starters who embrace travel and challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance on generators, troubleshoot and repair issues, as well as install and replace components or entire systems, including seasonal upgrades.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and routine maintenance to guarantee operational readiness, interpreting blueprints and design specifications for installations and repairs.
  • Install fuel and water lines, pumps, electrical wiring, controls, and other components, ensuring proper functionality through testing.
  • Respond promptly to Power/Generator alarms; maintain availability for on-call duties 24/7 as required, ensuring timely communication via phone and email.
  • Execute tasks safely, being aware of hazards associated with power supply equipment installations and maintenance, including but not limited to electric shock, falls, and traffic; adhere to safety protocols and participate in designated training sessions.
