Are you a motivated and skilled Generator Technician eager to develop your expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within the Telecom sector? If so, Pearce has the perfect opportunity for you! Our Generator Technicians provide essential service and repair for commercial generators located on cell phone towers throughout your area. This role is ideal for self-driven individuals who are open to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain generators by diagnosing and repairing issues, installing or replacing components, and executing additional maintenance or upgrades as needed.
  • Conduct performance assessments and routine maintenance to ensure generators are fully operational, interpreting blueprints and design specifications for installations or repairs.
  • Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, controls, and other components while testing for proper functionality.
  • Respond promptly to Power/Generator alarms and be available for on-call duties as required, ensuring timely communication via phone and email.
  • Perform all tasks with an awareness of potential hazards related to power supply equipment, switching gear, and other machinery, utilizing safety equipment and adhering to safety protocols; participate in all required safety and training sessions.
