Your Role:

Are you an ambitious and skilled Generator Technician eager to advance your career in the dynamic Telecom sector? At Pearce, you will service and repair commercial generators at cell phone towers within your region. This position is perfect for independent self-starters who enjoy travel and are ready for challenges.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain generators by diagnosing issues, repairing malfunctions, and installing or replacing components and systems as needed.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and routine maintenance to ensure generators are always operational, reading and interpreting blueprints or design specifications for installation and repair tasks.
  • Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, controls, and other components, followed by testing for functionality.
  • Respond promptly to generator alarms; be available for on-call duties 24/7, ensuring timely communication via phone and email.
  • Perform all tasks with a strong awareness of potential hazards associated with power supply equipment maintenance, adopting safety protocols and participating in training sessions.
