Your Role:

If you are a motivated and skilled Generator Technician eager to expand your knowledge in a dynamic Telecom environment, Pearce Services has the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will service and repair commercial generators at cell phone towers in your area. Ideal candidates are independent, self-starters who are open to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot generators, diagnose and resolve issues, install or replace components or systems, and conduct maintenance or upgrades on seasonal equipment.
  • Perform performance checks and routine maintenance to guarantee operational readiness, interpreting blueprints and specifications for installation or repair tasks.
  • Install fuel and water lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and conduct tests to confirm proper functionality.
  • Respond promptly to Power/Generator alarms and be available for on-call responsibilities 24/7 as needed, ensuring timely communication via phone and email.
  • Work safely while being mindful of potential hazards associated with power supply equipment installation and maintenance, including electric shock, falls, and traffic; adhere to safety protocols and participate in all required safety meetings.
