Your Role:

Are you a motivated and skilled Generator Technician eager to advance your career in a dynamic and challenging environment? At Pearce, our Generator Technicians are responsible for servicing and repairing commercial generators on cell phone towers within your region. This position is perfect for self-starters who are willing to travel and thrive in an independent work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair generators, including the installation and replacement of components or entire systems, as well as performing upgrades on seasonal equipment.
  • Conduct regular performance checks and maintenance on generators to ensure their readiness, following blueprints or design specifications for installations or repairs.
  • Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, and controls, ensuring all components are tested for proper operation.
  • Respond promptly to power/generator alarms; availability for on-call duties may be required, including timely response to assigned communication channels.
  • Work safely by recognizing potential hazards associated with power supply equipment installation and maintenance; employ safety equipment and practices, and participate in all designated safety training meetings.
