Databricks is hiring a Geo Core Account Executive based in Perth, Western Australia. This new role focuses on expanding Databricks' reach in the Western Australia market. The position reports to the Director of Enterprise Sales and is part of the Enterprise Sales team.
What You Will Do
- Drive Consumption: Identify key customer use cases and help clients increase their use of Databricks services.
- Secure Strategic Deals: Find, structure, and close co-investment opportunities in high-priority projects to speed up delivery.
- Prospect for New Business: Use account planning and intent signals to target and engage new leads.
- Engage Prospects: Partner with Business Development Representatives and Marketing to build relationships with key prospects and position Databricks as a replacement for existing technologies.
- Execute Sales: Lead impactful first meetings, create urgency for change, and develop account plans to focus sales efforts.
- Manage Pipeline: Keep an accurate Salesforce pipeline, create proof of concepts (POCs), and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with solution architects and professional services managers to support customer success.
