KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Global O&M Strategy & Standards Define and continuously improve global O&M engineering standards, processes, and governance frameworks. Craft long-term O&M strategies that balance cost, performance, risk, and lifecycle value. Ensure strategies align with WiseEnergy’s ESG commitments, safety culture, and long-term asset integrity. O&M Partner & Procurement Leadership Own global procurement frameworks, qualification criteria, and performance expectations for O&M partners. Lead senior provider relationships and act as an escalation point for performance, safety, and contractual issues. Ensure contracts are commercially viable, value-focused, and aligned with long-term asset goals. Drive continuous improvement through benchmarking, structured reviews, and lessons learned. Asset Performance & Operational Oversight Lead structured performance review frameworks (daily/annual) covering asset availability, compliance, and risk management.

Based in London, Madrid, or Sevilla, this senior position shapes the O&M strategy across multiple regions, asset types, and client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and maintain global engineering standards for O&M activities.
  • Develop and refine the O&M strategy to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery through third-party partners.
  • Maximize asset value by ensuring O&M spending drives performance, reliability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Act as the strategic lead for O&M partnerships: build strong relationships, define expectations, and manage provider performance.
  • Oversee asset performance, availability, and compliance, focusing on risk mitigation and robust governance.
  • Use operational data and insights to inform future asset design, construction, and investment decisions.
  • Serve as WiseEnergy’s senior technical authority for operational assets.
  • Work closely with WiseEnergy’s senior leadership and the broader NextEnergy Group to strengthen engineering capabilities and deliver quality service to clients and fund managers.
