Your Core Responsibilities:Define and lead the U. S. Market Data team, overseeing the comprehensive market data landscape and its evolution. Contribute significantly to the global market data strategy, collaborating with regional teams to align standards, tools, and long-term goals. Manage and advance market data projects that directly support trading objectives and operational efficiencies. Identify, assess, and integrate new market and alternative data sets, ensuring each source adds tangible value to trading strategies. Provide high-level technical and architectural guidance on sourcing, normalizing, distributing, and utilizing market data across the organization. Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with external data vendors, exchanges, and strategic partners. Act as a mentor and subject-matter expert, offering training and insights to junior team members on essential market data concepts and best practices. Work closely with trading, technology, compliance, and risk teams (both locally and globally) to ensure seamless market data solutions integration. Ensure compliance of market data usage with regulatory mandates, exchange regulations, and internal policies, proactively mitigating risk and cost. Contribute to and help mold data governance, quality, and control frameworks, emphasizing accuracy, transparency, and scalability. Champion cost-effective market data practices, balancing commercial considerations with performance, risk management, and growth.
