Global Relocation Program Manager

The SpaceX Global Relocation (Mobility) team is seeking a Global Relocation Program Manager to oversee and direct all facets of our employee relocation initiatives. This role will involve managing programs related to relocation, immigration, and tax for both domestic and international relocations, as well as international assignments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, possessing the ability to construct scalable relocation programs and policies that adapt to evolving business needs while ensuring compliance with both domestic and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the complete lifecycle of domestic, international, and intra-country relocation processes, while collaborating with our third-party relocation service providers.
  • Design, implement, and manage global mobility and immigration programs, policies, guidelines, and procedures to support SpaceX’s global expansion.
  • Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Global HR, HR Business Partners, Recruiting, Payroll, Finance, Compensation, Legal, and Department Leaders.
  • Offer timely and reliable guidance on the relocation program to stakeholders and employees, addressing escalations as required.
  • Lead queries from stakeholders and vendor partners, managing escalations and exceptions effectively.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, identify opportunities, and devise strategies to fulfill business requirements.
  • Enhance operational efficiencies by improving policies and processes, adapting programs to meet dynamic business needs, and educating partners and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide expert consultations on complex relocation issues, including tax, immigration, and visa support strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Compensation and HR teams to develop and implement strategies tailored to the specific needs of domestic relocations, temporary assignments, international relocations, and international assignments.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert, advisor, and primary point of contact for the SpaceX relocation program.
  • Monitor and report on all relocation activities to cross-functional partners and leadership.
