Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator to ensure exceptional customer service and effective incident management. This pivotal role involves monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and managing escalations. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service abilities, alongside experience in incident response and troubleshooting of physical security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively monitor and respond to physical security incidents.
Work collaboratively with Risk Intelligence, IT, and Information Security teams during incident responses.
Notify and escalate incidents to incident commanders as per established protocols.
Engage in regular training sessions and exercises to enhance incident response capabilities.
Coordinate with the Security Systems team to report issues and support troubleshooting efforts.
Foster a culture of exceptional customer service within the team.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Studies, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a physical security role.
Familiarity with physical security systems.
Experience in incident response protocols.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong collaborative skills to work across various business units to resolve incidents.
Preferred Skills:
Discretion in handling sensitive information.
Capability to assess risks and make informed decisions swiftly.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Extended hours may be required to support critical operations.
Prolonged periods of desk work and computer usage.
