In-depth knowledge of contract manufacturing, component sourcing, BOM management, logistics, and quality assurance processes. Proven vendor management and negotiation capabilities with EMS/ODM/CM partners. Excellent communication skills, with a knack for transforming ambiguity into clarity and fostering alignment across teams. A proactive builder who can implement scalable processes and operational discipline in a dynamic hardware organization. Strong technical background with experience in EMS, POS systems, kiosks, and custom enclosures.

Your Role

  • Oversee the entire hardware lifecycle from conception to delivery across Otter’s diverse hardware portfolio, including POS systems, kiosks, kitchen displays, and lockers.
  • Develop and maintain strategic vendor partnerships, shaping both short-term and long-term visions for hardware products.
  • Ensure timely manufacturing and adherence to quality standards through comprehensive oversight of FATP processes and readiness protocols.
  • Lead supply planning and optimization initiatives, conducting thorough analysis and facilitating alignment among stakeholders for all hardware products.
  • Establish performance metrics and risk management systems that provide executive-level insights into supply chain efficiency and operational performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Sales, Finance, Legal, Support, and Operations to translate business needs into actionable hardware plans and market readiness strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of accountability for the hardware organization, ensuring efficient operations and scalability to support Otter’s growth ambitions.
