Applied Compute is hiring a Go-To-Market Engineer in San Francisco. This role bridges engineering and commercial strategy, supporting both technical development and customer engagement. The position centers on building product demos, prototyping solutions in real time, and automating workflows that help move prospects to signed agreements. The Go-To-Market Engineer also strengthens internal tools for the sales team and works closely with other teams to highlight the platform’s capabilities.
What You Will Do
- Develop and deliver customer-facing demos that highlight Applied Compute’s platform, including custom agents tailored to specific buyer needs and workflows.
- Prototype solutions live during customer interactions, moving quickly from discovery calls to working models.
- Partner with the Applied AI team on active deals, guiding the technical narrative for proofs of concept and pilot projects.
- Design AI-powered tools to support go-to-market efforts: streamline account research, personalize outreach, improve competitive intelligence, and refine pipeline reporting.
- Build reference implementations, set up demo environments, and create reusable agent patterns to accelerate future sales cycles.
- Bring knowledge of the AI landscape to influence product positioning and pricing conversations.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to spot customer trends that could shape new features.
Qualifications
- Strong engineering background with the ability to quickly build functional prototypes.
- Experience with modern AI tools and frameworks, such as LLM APIs, agent orchestration, evaluation tools, and a broad understanding of the model ecosystem.
- Comfort working directly with customers, including technical stakeholders, and presenting complex features through clear demonstrations.
- Self-driven and focused on delivering results.
Preferred Experience
- Interest in handling a variety of tasks, from account research and deal support to internal tool development and process improvement, often within the same day.
- Preference for automating tasks, building templates, workflows, and playbooks to support go-to-market growth.
- Background in customer-facing roles.
