Role Overview:

The Governance Operations Intern plays a critical role in facilitating effective governance processes throughout the organization. You will ensure that trackers, documentation, and coordination activities are consistently monitored and updated.

This role blends structured administrative responsibilities, such as maintaining trackers and organizing documentation, with insightful exposure to governance operations within a rapidly expanding multinational technology company.

By collaborating closely with the Project Management, Operations, and Governance teams, as well as cross-functional departments including Marketing, Event Operations, Finance, Legal, HR, and IT, you will gain valuable insights into decision tracking, risk management, and the standardization of processes across various regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Governance Operations & Coordination

  • Assist in the execution of governance processes across teams and regions.
  • Monitor actions, decisions, and follow-ups from governance meetings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely updates and alignment.
  • Help prepare governance summaries and internal reports.

2. Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain and update governance trackers, including:
    • Policy/SOP Master Sheet
    • Risk register
    • Issue and action logs
  • Ensure trackers are accurate, consistently structured, and up to date.
  • Identify and flag missing inputs, inconsistencies, or overdue actions.

3. Documentation & Standardization

  • Assist in formatting and standardizing:
    • SOPs and policies
    • Templates and internal documentation
  • Ensure documents adhere to naming conventions, version control, and consistent structure.
  • Identify and flag outdated, duplicated, or unclear documentation.

4. Knowledge Management & Folder Governance

  • Update and maintain the webook.com Hub (internal portal) to ensure content accuracy.
  • Support the maintenance of centralized repositories (shared drives, internal tools).
  • Ensure documents are properly stored, accessible, and clearly owned.
  • Assist in organizing folder structures, access, and governance standards.

5. Governance Calendar & Follow-ups

  • Support the management of the governance calendar (policy reviews, compliance checks, etc.).
