Responsibilities:Collaborate on the design of high-efficiency mm-Wave Power AmplifiersDocument and effectively present the design processPerform EM simulations of passive RF structures using HFSSEvaluate and characterize power amplifier prototypesAssist in developing automated testing lab equipment for measurementsRequirements:Pursuing a Ph. D. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldAuthorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorshipAvailable to work approximately 40 hours per week for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and/or Summer 2026 termsMinimum GPA of 3.0On-site work required in Atlanta, GAPreferred Skills and Experience:Hands-on experience in designing mmWave power amplifiers or RF front-end circuitsGraduate-level education focused on RF/microwave integrated circuit design (CMOS, GaAs, or GaN)Proficient with industry-standard RF simulation tools (e.g., Keysight ADS, GoldenGate, Momentum, SpectreRF, HFSS)Strong understanding of linear and non-linear circuit analysis for RFIC/MMIC blocks, including power amplifiersFamiliarity with RF transceiver architectures and contemporary communication standardsExperience in designing or characterizing circuits in frequency bands including GSM, Ku-, K-, and Ka-bandProficient in RF measurements using equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and signal generatorsExcellent communication skills with the ability to present data clearly
