Join our dynamic team at The Level Group in Milan as a Group Controller, where you will spearhead the establishment and evolution of our Group Controlling function.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing and structuring a comprehensive controlling framework, developing processes, tools, and a dedicated team to support our ambitious growth trajectory. Reporting directly to the Founders, you will blend strategic vision with a hands-on approach, ensuring effective design and execution of controlling activities across the organization.
As a vital business partner to our leadership and business units, your contributions will enhance financial visibility, support informed decision-making, and drive performance through insightful, data-driven analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a Group Controlling Model that aligns with our business objectives and growth initiatives.
Oversee reporting and planning processes across all Group companies.
Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts by gathering, analyzing, and consolidating financial data.
Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure diligent monitoring of budget objectives, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective measures as necessary.
Deliver clear insights into financial performance and condition by interpreting and reporting financial data.
Serve as a key financial resource for Business Unit managers, aiding them in comprehending performance metrics and facilitating informed decisions.
Generate ad hoc financial reports for shareholders, management, and other stakeholders through comprehensive data collection, analysis, and summarization.
Establish and maintain a robust system for monitoring key business performance indicators, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
Contribute to the gradual buildup and development of the Group Controlling team.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within sectors such as fashion, luxury, retail, or e-commerce.
Educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields with a proven ability to deliver high-quality financial analysis and insights.
Exceptional analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights for the business.
Fluency in both Italian and English is essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
