Exposure to group reporting concepts including consolidation, multi-currency, and intercompany. Solid command of ERP and planning tools (NetSuite, Anaplan, or similar) combined with strong data visualization skills.

Role Overview: Group Financial Planning & Analysis Expert

This Berlin-based role focuses on shaping financial reporting and planning across the group. The position works closely with multiple teams to deliver clear financial insights and support strategic decisions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the design and improvement of group-wide reporting standards and planning frameworks. Optimize reporting hierarchies and budget or forecast cycles, and help identify areas for process automation.
  • Work with Commercial, Marketing, and Product teams to provide timely financial insights, track KPIs, and develop business cases. Translate complex data into actionable information for non-financial colleagues.
  • Partner with the finance team to streamline the monthly close cycle. Support the development of group consolidation and management reporting, focusing on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with ad-hoc strategic finance projects, including scenario modeling and analysis of new markets or initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in FP&A, financial controlling, or strategic finance. Background in fintech, investment banking, or a scale-up is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, advanced financial modeling ability, and attention to detail. Uses financial data to support decision-making.
  • Proven track record improving financial reporting workflows and monthly close processes in evolving environments.
  • Understanding of group reporting concepts, including consolidation, multi-currency transactions, and intercompany relationships.
  • Proficient with ERP and planning tools such as NetSuite or Anaplan. Skilled in data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
