What does the role involve?
As the Group Lead, you will be a pivotal member of a high-performing engineering team responsible for developing the next generation of CXone Performance Management (PM). You will lead a team of skilled engineers, ensuring efficient and high-quality product deliveries while also supporting our existing PM clientele. This position requires both strategic insight and attention to detail, as the product encompasses a variety of microservices, AI agents, and user interfaces. You will be tasked with creating and executing development plans while maintaining a solid technical understanding of enterprise-grade product development, with a focus on customer experience and cloud technologies.
How will you make your mark?
- Lead a scrum team (5-6 engineers) to deliver comprehensive product capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, Operations, and Customer Success teams to align objectives and share a unified vision.
- Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, from concept through to deployment.
- Oversee product design, implementation, and quality to ensure adherence to high standards.
- Encourage a culture of innovation, shaping the product's future by influencing its vision and promoting creative solutions.
- Implement strong decision-making frameworks, ensuring clarity and alignment among stakeholders.
- Foster productive relationships across teams, promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Guide and support the development team in overcoming complex technical challenges under tight deadlines.
- Facilitate the technical and career development of team members through mentorship and training opportunities.
- Act as the primary technical liaison, ensuring effective communication and technical understanding across teams.
Are you the right fit?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- The role includes approximately 50% hands-on coding responsibilities.
- 8+ years of industry experience in R&D, with at least 3 years of leading a high-performing team (10+ engineers) in a software product development context.
- Experience with cloud technologies and a strong focus on customer experience.
