About the Role
As our Growth Lead, you will be a foundational member of Tonic’s team, playing a crucial role in discovering and enhancing new marketing channels. You will conduct experiments, analyze results to determine effective strategies, and help codify successful methods into scalable playbooks.
You will collaborate closely with Ray (co-founder of Tonic) and a dynamic growth team, including experts from Duolingo, TikTok, and Google.
What You’ll Do
You will spearhead user acquisition efforts and transform Tonic’s diverse growth levers , influencer marketing, paid promotion, referrals, and partnerships , into a self-sustaining ecosystem. You’ll analyze user behavior, identify trends in how musicians discover and share Tonic, and design experiments that leverage those insights to achieve scalable growth.
Experimentation & R&D
• Initiate and evaluate 0→1 experiments across influencer, paid, and referral channels
• Identify and confirm new scalable growth loops
• Analyze initial signals to determine which strategies to amplify and which to discontinue
Execution & Collaboration
• Manage timelines and deliverables for multi-channel campaign launches
• Collaborate with product, design, and influencer teams to align messaging and targeting
• Develop the narrative arc for each campaign , customizing the story and calls to action for various audiences
Tracking & Optimization
• Track CAC, conversion rates, and retention across initiatives
