About the job
At Anduril Industries, we are pioneering a new era in defense technology, committed to enhancing the capabilities of the U. S. and allied military forces through innovative solutions. Our mission is to revolutionize military systems by integrating cutting-edge technology and expertise from the most forward-thinking companies of the 21st century. Our advanced systems, powered by Lattice OS, an AI-driven operating system, transform vast amounts of data into a real-time, 3D command and control center. As global strategic competition intensifies, we are dedicated to deploying state-of-the-art autonomy, artificial intelligence, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technologies to the military within months rather than years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Within Anduril’s Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) division, we are focused on two key missions: developing highly advanced autonomous drones and producing solid rocket motors at scale. Our team collaborates closely with engineering, operations, and production specialists to transition products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius from conceptual stages to fully functional systems. Our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team employs advanced materials and proprietary formulations to design and manufacture solid rocket motors, delivering safe and reliable propulsion solutions for a wide array of mission requirements. TRS actively seeks software and hardware engineers who are eager to contribute to a robust portfolio of technology, from autonomous aerial systems to high-performance solid rocket motors, ensuring our systems operate effectively in the most challenging environments.
The GNC team within TRS is responsible for the implementation, analysis, testing, and validation of GNC software solutions that support our autonomous drone fleet. Responsibilities include attitude and position control, waypoint engagement, and navigation in contested environments, including scenarios where communication and GPS signals are compromised.
