ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this pivotal position, you will be the essential liaison among engineering, business, and production departments. As our business rapidly expands and we scale our production capabilities, you will play a critical role in transitioning multiple prototype products into full-scale production. Your leadership will ensure a seamless evolution of our processes, enabling the successful introduction of new products.
This dynamic growth landscape calls for a seasoned leader capable of coordinating across diverse engineering and production teams. You will dive deep into operational details, focusing on aspects such as serial effectiveness of components, inventory management, procurement of materials, and harness development release protocols. Your proactive approach will identify potential gaps and risks early, allowing you to implement effective solutions. Collaborating closely with design, sustainment, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams, you will guide the drawing releases, part procurement, and capacity planning necessary to realize our ambitious growth objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a central interface among business, engineering, and production functions.
- Oversee the production launch of multiple new products.
- Lead the scaling of engineering and production resources, aiming for a dramatic increase in output within one year.
- Coordinate engineering teams to address production demands, including drawing releases and part alterations.
- Assess production and engineering resources to capitalize on emerging customer opportunities, fulfilling both new and existing business commitments.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine critical processes for product management and release.
