TransPerfect is hiring a Hebrew Linguist with strong English skills for an in-house position based in York, North Yorkshire. This role centers on a variety of linguistic tasks, adapting to the needs of different projects and document types. Candidates will have their language abilities evaluated and certified as part of the hiring process.
Key responsibilities
- Meet TransPerfect’s quality standards to fulfill client requirements.
- Complete all required training for Associate Linguists, including certification in relevant subjects, technology tools, production workflows, and quality assurance procedures.
- Use internal resources such as Confluence, Launchpad, and other company technologies effectively.
- Perform linguistic tasks according to project instructions, making use of reference materials and language assets like translation memory, glossaries, and style guides.
- Follow both internal and client-specific processes throughout each project.
- Collaborate with a Team Lead or senior colleague for guidance and support.
- Reach quality and productivity goals set by your manager or supervisor.
- Take on additional tasks relevant to the role as assigned by your manager or supervisor.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Hebrew and English.
