Preferred Technical Skills:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. Proficiency in HIL systems, including hardware, modeling, and simulation. Strong programming skills in C, Python, and familiarity with Microsoft tools and relevant dSPACE hardware/software environments. Experience with automotive vehicle networks and protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), including diagnostic tools and associated documentation (DBC, LDFs, ARXMLs). Understanding of vehicle electrical systems integration and troubleshooting. Knowledge of vehicle ECU interaction and interfaces. Hands-on experience with electrical measurement tools (e.g., Oscilloscope, Multimeter, CAN/LIN analyzer).

Key Technical Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering initiatives related to vehicle program management under client direction.
  • Develop and oversee electrical bills of material for HIL testing assets, including coordinating material procurement with the client wiring team.
  • Facilitate soft ECU integration, automotive platform parameterization (dSPACE ASM), I/O configuration, and BUS simulations.
  • Manage HIL updates to accommodate planned validation loops encompassing models, communication databases, hardware, complexity, and variant verifications.
  • Oversee HIL configuration testing for various planned vehicle configurations with differing complexities.
  • Direct lab vehicle HIL integrations, which include vehicle parts setup, PC configuration, license management, and more.
  • Conduct HIL simulation commissioning in both open and closed loop systems.
  • Lead functional testing of test properties and control desk checkouts prior to HIL delivery.
