Main responsibilities
- Assist with daily HR operations, including administrative and clerical tasks.
- Maintain accurate personnel records using the HRIS system (Workday).
- Guide new hires through onboarding and conduct orientation sessions for all U. S. employees.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports as needed.
- Coordinate with Payroll and Benefits to prepare for payroll closure, including timecard adjustments, document collection, and payroll modifications.
- Work with Recruitment to ensure a smooth transition from pre-hire to hire.
- Respond to unemployment claims and manage employee verification requests.
- Answer questions from employees and supervisors regarding policies and procedures.
- Handle incoming phone calls and email correspondence for the HR department.
- Support Open Enrollment by scheduling meetings, notifying employees, coordinating with Workforce Management, and preparing documents.
- Prepare paychecks for distribution and mailing.
- Take on additional projects or responsibilities as assigned.
