Role overview
The Human Resources Manager for Italy will handle all core HR functions for the local team, working closely with the international HR group. This position balances strategic planning with hands-on daily responsibilities. The manager will adapt global HR strategies to fit local regulations and culture, ensuring both compliance and alignment with company values.
What you will do
- Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding for multiple departments
- Act as the primary contact for employee questions, supporting a positive work environment
- Implement and manage performance review and feedback processes
- Develop and deliver training programs for career growth and skill development
- Promote company culture through internal and external initiatives
- Coordinate local corporate social responsibility and inclusion activities
- Ensure compliance with Italian labor laws and internal HR policies
- Maintain HR dashboards and reports to support data-driven decisions
- Support the rollout of global HR practices across European teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or HR certifications such as CIPD or SHRM are a plus)
- At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with 2 or more years in a managerial or senior generalist role, preferably in an international or fast-changing setting
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Italian labor laws, social security, and employment regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and advise on legal matters
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building trust and influencing effectively
