As an ICT Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for IT operations within our organization. Your role will involve providing on-site support to local plant users and remote assistance to users across the Americas, as well as occasional support for EMEA and APAC regions. You will be responsible for managing initial incident and service requests for the IT department, ensuring timely escalation when necessary. Collaborating with our IT partners, you will oversee the handling of outsourced tickets.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include troubleshooting user issues, maintaining services, applications, and computer systems, as well as procuring, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software assets. You will be expected to keep meticulous documentation of IT processes, procedures, incident resolutions, and application services.
We seek a candidate who is not only proficient and organized but also demonstrates a passion for learning new technologies and services. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage high-pressure situations. This role may require occasional travel.
