Role overview

The Implementation Engineer II at Axon Enterprise, Inc. supports public safety partners in adopting and integrating Axon's devices and cloud software. This position combines technical project delivery with direct client interaction, contributing to customer satisfaction and successful deployments. The role reports to the Manager, Solutions Architect and operates with minimal supervision.

Location and travel

This is a remote position, but candidates must live within commuting distance of one of Axon's hub locations: Scottsdale, AZ; Seattle, WA; Boston, MA; Denver, CO; or Atlanta, GA. Up to 30% travel is required.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a client-facing member of the Software Solutions Delivery Team.
  • Collaborate with networking and software professionals to deliver Axon technology to clients in small and mid-market, T1200, and Majors segments, focusing on public safety.
  • Assess IT system architectures to scope technical projects, recommend system improvements, conduct Information Security assessments, and participate in architecture review boards.
  • Manage technical projects both remotely and at client locations.
  • Communicate project progress to both technical and non-technical client leaders.
  • Work with the account management team to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Deliver high-quality service for Axon software deployments.
  • Identify integration opportunities between agency systems (cloud and/or on-premises) and Axon products.
  • Recommend deployment strategies for integrations that support agency goals.
