We are looking for a self-motivated professional with a strong construction background, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage projects effectively.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and comprehend bid documentation, identifying risks, constructability issues, site logistics, sequencing, phasing, and time constraints.Collaborate with team members to develop accurate bid strategies for project proposals.Conduct detailed trade and vendor take-offs across all relevant scopes of work.Ensure accuracy and identify scope gaps among trades and vendors.Maintain communication with trades, vendors, design teams, and internal stakeholders throughout the pre-construction process.Draft scopes of work for each applicable trade.Prepare detailed estimates for both conceptual and hard bid proposals.Ensure customer proposals are accurate, featuring detailed CSI breakdowns, alternates, allowances, qualifications, and exclusions.Adhere to all required bid documentation compliance.Support the pre-construction team in building and maintaining our trade and vendor database.Foster positive relationships with trades and vendors.Collaborate with the Assistant Estimator to set up RFQs in our construction management program and distribute them to trade partners and vendors.Work with the Assistant Estimator to solicit and obtain proposals from trades and vendors.Develop and maintain a cost history database.Facilitate transition meetings upon award with project management and superintendent teams.Lead pre-bid meetings with trade partners.Document client pre-bid meetings.Prepare preliminary construction schedules as needed for bid requirements.Collaborate with project management and superintendent teams to address any pre-construction inquiries throughout the project lifecycle.Verify and document existing site conditions to ensure bid document accuracy.Prepare Requests for Information during the bidding process.
