Job Overview

As an Industrial Engineer at Saronic, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing and operational processes focused on the development of autonomous surface vessels. You will utilize your expertise in material flow, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data analytics to bolster production efficiency, minimize waste, and ensure that our systems are safe, sustainable, and cost-effective. Collaborating with engineering, operations, and production teams, you will help us deliver top-quality products in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and enhance material flow across manufacturing processes to ensure seamless production of autonomous surface vessels.

  • Apply lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste, optimize cycle times, and elevate throughput.

  • Perform data analysis and provide actionable insights to support process enhancements and informed decision-making.

  • Design and improve production workflows, ensuring optimal utilization of materials, components, and workforce.

  • Assist in developing and implementing performance metrics, KPIs, and other analytical tools to monitor and boost production efficiency.

  • Work alongside cross-functional teams (engineering, design, operations) to ensure new and existing products are optimized for manufacturability.

  • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, quality concerns, and inefficiencies within the production process.

  • Support capacity planning and resource allocation to achieve production targets.

  • Provide mentorship and training on lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics methodologies to team members.
