Position Overview:
We invite applications for the role of Information Architect. This pivotal position entails coordinating the development of our autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) for Department of Defense initiatives. You will play a crucial role in maintaining technical media schedules, ensuring resource allocation, fostering clear communication across teams, and executing a comprehensive content strategy for interdepartmental documentation.
Responsibilities:
Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables; develop detailed project plans, timelines, and task assignments.
Serve as the primary liaison for all stakeholders, providing regular updates and solutions to challenges.
Oversee resource management to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor project progress and manage risks and challenges as they arise.
Uphold the quality of project outputs, ensuring adherence to company standards.
Evaluate project outcomes, document lessons learned, and formally conclude projects; provide after-action reports.
Design intuitive navigation, content structures, and search functionalities to optimize information accessibility.
Conduct audience analysis to enhance user interaction with digital products and identify improvement opportunities.
Utilize documentation site maps, wireframes, and user flows to visualize user experience and system architecture.
Collaborate across teams to align information architecture with business objectives and project requirements.
Develop a content strategy, determining the display and access methods for content within digital products.
Plan and execute usability tests to assess the effectiveness of information architecture and identify areas for enhancement.
