A Day In The Life
We are on the lookout for a talented and passionate Machine Learning Engineer to join our Research Science team. In this role, you will focus on optimizing machine learning models and enhancing performance within advertising technology, aiming to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of ad placements.
The ideal candidate will not only possess an excellent academic and technical background but will also actively contribute to teamwork, staying abreast of cutting-edge technologies and independently identifying and resolving challenges.

The Impact You’ll Make
- Develop and enhance machine learning models related to ad placements to increase predictive accuracy and effectiveness.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve data pipelines, optimize model inference performance, and refine monitoring systems.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning and advertising technology, assessing their potential impact on company operations. Implement cutting-edge research into practical projects to drive technological innovation.
- Proactively identify potential issues and areas for optimization within ad placement systems, proposing viable solutions. Design and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize model and system performance.
- Collaborate closely with our talented machine learning engineers, data scientists, and software engineers to seamlessly integrate your solutions into our platform.
Who You Are
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Strong theoretical foundation and practical experience in machine learning, familiar with common algorithms and tools (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience in model optimization and inference performance enhancement, understanding relevant technologies and methods.
- Outstanding teamwork abilities, adept at communication and collaboration, with a proactive approach to contributing within a team.
- A strong desire to learn and ability to independently identify and solve problems, quickly adapting to technological changes.
Additional Strengths
- Experience in advertising technology or related fields.
- Proficiency in C++ development.
- Publications in leading conferences on recommendation systems or advertising (e.g., KDD, NeurIPS, SIGIR, Recsys) are a plus.
