Join Our Team as an Inside Sales Account Manager

Skillsoft is expanding its global outreach to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and previously engaged enterprise clients. We are searching for a proactive, customer-centric Inside Sales Account Manager who will focus on accelerating our growth. This role is integral to managing a diverse portfolio of existing small clients, dormant enterprise accounts, and low-complexity new opportunities. You will play a vital role in driving client reactivation, retention, and pipeline development while being the main contact for our Instructor-Led Training (ILT) solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, responsiveness, and a disciplined outreach strategy to optimize engagement and revenue across your assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Growth & Pipeline Development: Propel high-velocity revenue through targeted outreach and effective customer engagement. Consistently meet and exceed pipeline and quota targets across new, reactivation, and upsell opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement & Retention: Implement a digital-first engagement strategy (including email, phone, LinkedIn, and automated processes) to swiftly establish rapport, identify customer needs, and propose suitable ILT training programs and learning pathways.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure accuracy in order processing, payments, and course registrations. Take ownership of managing inquiries, follow-ups, and collaborate cross-functionally with various departments.
  • Sales Motion Alignment: Function within a fast-paced sales cycle focused on reactivation, retention, and small-ticket new opportunities. Maintain a disciplined approach, demonstrate strong responsiveness, and ensure consistent pipeline activity.
  • Tools & Systems Utilization: Leverage CRM tools, Sales Intelligence, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and automated sales plays to support effective forecasting and pipeline management.
