ABOUT THE INNOCENCE PROJECT
The Innocence Project is dedicated to exonerating the wrongfully convicted, preventing future injustices, and fostering a justice system that is fair, compassionate, and equitable for all. Our mission is rooted in scientific evidence and a strong commitment to anti-racism. Since our founding, we have utilized DNA and other scientific advancements to rectify wrongful convictions, successfully helping to free over 250 individuals who collectively endured more than 3,600 years of wrongful imprisonment. Our advocacy has resulted in the enactment of over 200 significant state laws and federal reforms. Today, the Innocence Project is at the forefront of the fight for justice, driving systemic change, and advancing the movement for innocence. Discover more at www.innocenceproject.org.
