Role overview
The Integration Engineer role centers on connecting healthcare data systems to Hippocratic AI’s clinical AI platform. This position involves working with Electronic Health Records (EHRs), APIs, and analytics pipelines to operationalize AI models at scale. The engineer will address healthcare interoperability, system architecture, and data engineering challenges.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain healthcare data integrations using Python, HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, and SQL.
- Collaborate with delivery leads, product managers, and customer engineers to create and implement integration solutions based on current interoperability standards.
- Coordinate with offshore engineers to deliver high-quality integrations on schedule.
- Establish reusable integration patterns to improve performance and reliability across the platform.
Requirements
- Experience with Python-based data transformation and interface development.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 v2, FHIR, and RESTful APIs.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and offshore teams.
