RESPONSIBILITIESAct as a systems-level engineer to gather production requirements and manage the build, integration, and validation of flight hardware. Design and implement innovative tooling solutions to reduce assembly errors, enhance quality, and expedite production. Automate new processes to ensure consistency across large-scale production lines. Verify subsystem work centers meet cycle time targets, or lead design modifications to meet these criteria. Become an expert in building complex vehicle systems such as aerodynamics control surfaces, propellant feed systems, actuation systems, thermal protection systems, and avionics. Develop and maintain design for manufacturing criteria for constructing Starships and Super Heavy Boosters. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.1+ years of hands-on engineering experience, including design teams or internships. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in an engineering discipline.1+ year of experience in system-level acceptance testing.2+ years of professional experience in aerospace or mechanical engineering.2+ years of experience with GD&T principles. Experience in large steel structure construction (civil, naval, or mechanical). Background in process development, facility layout, error-proofing, factory optimization, and lean methodologies. Familiarity with Siemens NX, Teamcenter CAD, PLM, Process Simulate.

INTEGRATION ENGINEER (STARSHIP)

As an Integration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the production of the most powerful rocket ever built. You will be tasked with defining requirements, creating tooling, and implementing processes to ensure efficient production. Your focus will be on integrating avionics, propulsion, and structural components, collaborating daily with both design engineers and technician teams. You will influence vehicle architecture with an emphasis on reliability and manufacturability.
