The Opportunity
Join us as a Solution Architect focused on Integration, where you will represent Datacom's integration capabilities. This is a hands-on role that involves direct engagement with some of the region's most prominent organizations. You will be responsible for shaping concepts, facilitating discovery workshops, influencing architectural decisions, and translating intricate business challenges into elegant, scalable solutions.
You possess the ability to maintain a strategic overview while also diving into the details when necessary. You are comfortable leading discussions with C-suite executives and also eager to roll up your sleeves to implement solutions. As a senior team member, you will mentor others and contribute to the strategic direction of our practice, particularly in the context of how AI is transforming integration design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Pre-Sales
- Serve as a trusted advisor in integration, being the expert clients rely on.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, conduct in-depth architectural reviews, and lead design sessions.
- Collaborate with sales teams on pre-sales activities, shaping solutions, and preparing bid responses.
Architectural Design & Solutions
- Create secure, robust, and scalable integration architectures using modern toolsets.
- Utilize API-led connectivity, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous messaging methodologies.
- Develop future-state architectures that align with cloud, modernization, and AI strategies.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Oversee complex integration implementations throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Adhere to best practices, security standards, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Provide mentorship to delivery teams, enhancing capability across the practice.
Innovation, AI & Modernization
- Evaluate legacy systems and develop actionable modernization strategies.
- Create prototypes and showcase AI-enabled integration use cases.
- Drive Datacom's initiative to integrate AI into our integration solutions.
What You Bring:
Technical Proficiency
- Over 7 years of experience in delivering enterprise integration solutions.
- Hands-on experience with integration platforms and technologies such as MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, Kafka, Solace, Kong, Java Spring, and Dell Boomi.
- Extensive knowledge in API design, including REST, versioning, security, and governance.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
