Develop innovative and technically proficient solutions to design challenges, ensuring design excellence. Integrate quality assurance/control processes and adhere to company standards, collaborating with Project Managers. Maintain project timelines and guarantee prompt delivery of project documentation. Exhibit strong conceptual design skills, space planning expertise, and the ability to detail constructable design ideas. Utilize appropriate products, materials, and FF&E in alignment with sustainability objectives, while producing graphic presentations. Participate in site walks and oversee construction administration.

Role Overview

The Minneapolis office is looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join the Interiors team. Projects span K-12 Education, Higher Education, and Justice & Civic sectors. This position offers the chance to work on a variety of assignments and contribute to projects that shape important spaces in the community.

What You Will Do

  • Develop detailed material and finish palettes for project interiors
  • Create 3D renderings and prepare presentation drawings
  • Work closely with the integrated design team to deliver interiors that meet quality standards, project scope, schedule, budget, and fee requirements
  • Support project managers with scheduling, work plan development, and quality assurance tasks
  • Lead interior design efforts, present to clients, and facilitate design discussions
  • Help promote DLR Group’s core values through project work
