Key Responsibilities:Formulate creative and technically robust solutions to design challenges, ensuring a standard of design excellence. Implement quality assurance/control processes and uphold company standards in coordination with Project Managers. Manage project timelines and guarantee the punctual delivery of project documentation. Exhibit strong conceptual design abilities, space planning, and proficiency in detailing constructible design ideas. Select appropriate products, materials, and FF&E in alignment with sustainability objectives, and develop graphic presentations. Participate in site walks and project assessments to ensure alignment with design intent.

The Texas region of DLR Group is seeking talented Intermediate Interior Designers. This position can be based in the vibrant cities of:

  • Dallas
  • Houston

Position Overview

As an Interior Designer at DLR Group, you will be an essential member of our Interiors team, engaging in diverse responsibilities across various projects. Your role will include developing comprehensive material and finish palettes, crafting 3D renderings, and preparing compelling presentation drawings. You will also coordinate the design and technical development of interior elements, collaborating closely with the integrated design team to ensure the highest quality outcomes that adhere to project scope, timelines, budget, and fee structures.

Additionally, you may support the project manager with scheduling, work plans, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. You will often lead interior design initiatives, engage with clients, and deliver impactful presentations. Our Interiors team is dedicated to embodying and promoting our company's core values in every endeavor.
