Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Shop Technician! In this vital role, you will be engaged in the assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of various general equipment. You will operate essential tools to ensure the smooth handling of equipment and employ a range of Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE), such as micrometers and calipers, to inspect solids control equipment effectively.As a Shop Technician 1, you will directly report to the Shop Manager. Our standard work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime and occasional weekend and holiday shifts.Key Responsibilities:Assemble and prepare equipment for installation and service.Assist the Shop Manager with packing, wrapping, loading, and unloading deliveries.Operate hot-water pressure washers as needed for equipment cleaning.Support facility projects, including moving items, packing boxes, cleaning, and trash removal.Collaborate with fellow shop team members on equipment installation, service, and cleaning tasks.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Load and unload equipment onto trailers for shipment to job sites.Ensure the installation and verification of required S3S decals prior to equipment shipment.Request tools, supplies, and fixtures needed for your duties.Be adaptable to work in different locations as required.

The ideal candidate will be prepared to work overtime as necessary to support the team and project timelines.Key Responsibilities:Gather site data and update the construction schedule utilizing tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and Google Workspace.Generate daily reports on erection progress and site activities using platforms like Projectsite/AutoDesk and Trimble Connect.Support the Site Superintendent in ensuring quality control standards are met.Monitor delivery schedules and verify delivery slips.Engage in coordination meetings with engineering, detailing, and fabrication teams.Attend on-site coordination meetings with the General Contractor.Assist the steel erector with repair requests and address fieldwork deficiencies.Contribute to health and safety documentation.Schedule the project’s lifecycle using MS Project or Smartsheet.Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
