Role Overview

We are in search of a proactive and detail-oriented International Payroll Lead to oversee payroll operations across five countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, and France.

This pivotal role entails both strategic oversight and hands-on management of comprehensive payroll functions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, standardization, and adherence to SOX controls. As a vital member of our Accounting and People Operations teams, you will report to the Senior Manager of Global Payroll based in the United States and work closely with cross-functional teams throughout our international organization.

While this position is remote, we are a global company and prefer candidates located in eastern or central time zones to align with our team's working hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all payroll operations for the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Austria, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Guarantee compliance with all applicable local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal governance standards.
  • Collaborate with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders to enhance operations and resolve any issues.
  • Act as the primary contact for payroll inquiries from employees, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring effective and accurate communication.
  • Enhance payroll-related systems, processes, and documentation to improve overall efficiency.
