Qualifications

Essential Skills:Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related field. Hands-on experience with diffusion models, flow matching, or learning-based trajectory generation through relevant projects. Strong understanding of generative modeling and its application to time-series data. Proficient in Python and PyTorch; skilled in writing clean, modular code for rapid prototyping. Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Capable of navigating and implementing advanced techniques from contemporary research literature. Preferably experience with autonomous research or projects related to human motion generation (such as neural avatars), robotic imitation learning, or ego-centric action prediction. Desirable Skills:Background in robotics. Familiarity with simulation environments. Experience with multi-modal generative models. Experience in fine-tuning foundation models, such as Gr00t or SmolVLA, for generating whole-body actions or kinematics.

The Internship Role:

We are in search of a skilled MS or PhD intern to join our dynamic team in Zürich, eager to explore how humanoid robots can perceive and interact with their surroundings in innovative ways.

Your work will be at the cutting edge of generative whole-body trajectory generation, utilizing diffusion models, flow matching, and/or auto-regressive models, along with 3D environment perception.

This is a unique opportunity to tackle open-ended challenges in a fast-paced environment while learning from an exceptional team of engineers and scientists, contributing directly to our foundational software development.
