Responsibilities of an Interview Engineer:
As an Interview Engineer, you will conduct technical interviews for software developers globally. Your role will be pivotal in creating inclusive hiring processes by reducing bias, enhancing hiring signals, and conducting objective evaluations. These competencies are essential for effectively hiring and managing teams in both startups and established enterprises. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Interview: Facilitate interviews through Karat's platform, ensuring a positive candidate experience while assessing fundamental coding skills and technical knowledge.
- Evaluate: Provide feedback on candidates' performances, including coding style, communication skills, responses to technical questions, and coding strategies.
- Collaborate: Work alongside Karat to test content, processes, and products.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer.
- Exceptional English communication skills (both written and oral), showcasing a high level of professionalism and interpersonal abilities.
- Consistent access to a functioning webcam, microphone, and reliable internet connection.
- Preferred experience in conducting technical interviews, covering topics like data structures and algorithms.
