Role Overview
This position transcends a typical supply chain or logistics role, amalgamating responsibilities often distributed across various functions (planning, allocation, execution) into a singular, high-accountability role. You will oversee inventory decisions across multiple markets, warehouses, and business models.
Your Responsibilities
Own inventory decisions across the organization, ensuring optimal product availability in the right locations and at the right times.
Convert demand signals from Marketing into actionable purchasing and stock positioning strategies.
Manage order placements with suppliers, ensuring adherence to production and shipment timelines.
Collaborate closely with our supply team based in China on ordering, production, and buffer stock management.
Ensure accurate SKU positioning across our distributed global warehouse network.
Work in tandem with our CTO to define necessary data and system capabilities to facilitate effective decision-making.
Continuously analyze SKU performance, demand trends, and supply limitations to enhance outcomes.
Balance availability, cash flow, and risk across markets and warehouse locations.
Be actively involved when necessary , this role requires both strategic thinking and practical execution.
