SanMar’s Shakopee distribution center is looking for a 1st Shift Invoicer / Loader. This position plays a key role in processing and shipping customer orders accurately and safely.
Role overview
The Invoicer / Loader handles invoicing, tagging, and loading shipments. The job requires lifting and stacking product cases to load trailers or vehicles according to shipping needs. Safety and attention to detail are essential throughout each step.
What you will do
- Invoice, tag, and load customer shipments with accuracy and efficiency
- Move products using pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Check out and return equipment in good condition
- Use the Internal Operating System to verify shipping details
- Meet production and accuracy goals while following shipping deadlines
- Follow all company policies and standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in invoicing or shipping is a plus
- Comfortable using computers and RF scanning equipment
- Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels, and SKUs
- Basic math skills for counting and quantity checks
- Must complete and maintain SanMar’s Lift Operator Certification
- Skilled at moving products with pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Can follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
- Willing to rotate to other production functions as needed
- Ability to learn and use the Internal Operating System and RF units
- Strong attention to detail for accurate order processing
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Works well in a high-volume environment and meets deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of internal operating systems is important for this role
- Works efficiently with minimal supervision
- Willing to work essential days or overtime when needed
