Position Overview:
The Invoicer is responsible for accurately invoicing, tagging, and loading customer orders at a quick pace. This role involves safely and efficiently loading trailers and various vehicles according to shipping requirements, specifically through manual lifting and stacking of product cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice, tag, and load customer shipments accurately and promptly.
- Utilize pallet jacks and hand trucks to move products.
- Manage equipment checkout and ensure its return in the same condition.
- Employ the Internal Operating System to verify shipping accuracy.
- Meet production, accuracy standards, and shipping deadlines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all company policies and standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous invoicing or shipping experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with computers and RF scanning equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels, and SKUs.
- Basic math skills for counting and quantity management are necessary.
- May need to complete and retain SanMar’s Lift Operator Certification.
- Capability to move products using a pallet jack and hand truck.
- Proven ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities or job duties as required by the business; support or rotate to other production functions as necessary.
- Willingness to learn the Internal Operating System and operate Radio Frequency (RF) units.
- Strong attention to detail for accuracy.
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to thrive in a high-demand, high-volume environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of internal operating systems is essential for job performance.
- Capacity to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Essential days or overtime may be required.
